This notice was updated in line with data protection regulations. It will always be available to view at http://cedarshall.events. If we ever make significant changes to how we communicate or process your personal data, we will inform you directly and you will have the opportunity to change your communication preferences.

If you use our credit or debit card payment process, we have secure transactional measures in place and we will not keep your details for any longer than is necessary to complete the transaction. We do not usually collect ‘sensitive personal data’ (special category) from you unless there is a clear reason for doing so, such as health or dietary requirements. This is to ensure we provide appropriate facilities or support to ensure your enjoyment at a show or an event.
Cedars Hall or any permitted third parties may carry out photography, live internet streaming, TV filming and sound recording in or about the venue. Ticket holders consent to this activity, as members of the audience. If you object to this activity please contact us, in advance of the event. We will endeavour to facilitate your request, however cannot guarantee due to the nature of the activity.
We use 24hr CCTV for safety and security for both patrons and staff. CCTV secures both the building and carpark.
DISCLOSURE OF DATA
We do not share or disclose your personal information without your prior consent, other than for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement. All processors acting on our behalf only process data in accordance with our instruction and will fully comply with this Privacy Notice. We use the following third parties for their services. Please refer to their individual privacy notice. We hold and process all data, where possible, in house. All cloud-based processing is carried out within the EU.

DATA RETENTION
We will only retain personal data for as long as is necessary, with review periods in place to meet our obligations. We delete or destroy all personal data in a secure and timely manner.

Feel free to visit our website anonymously. If you wish to book online, purchase or request a newsletter, we will ask you to register with us, in order to process your request. If a link on our website takes you to the website of a third-party, you should refer to the privacy notice relating to that website to understand how your personal information is managed by that third party or how they use cookies.

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.
2. The data we collect about you
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We collect only that personal data from you that we need in order to provide the services.

4. How we use your personal data

6. Disclosures of your personal data
We may have to share your personal data with the parties set out below for the purposes set out in the table in paragraph 4 above.
- Data is stored on our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services. Using their EU datacentres for processing and storage.
- Payment gateways such as Stripe and Cloud Storage such as Google Drive or other similar support service provider.
- Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy notice.
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
7. Transfers outside of the UK
Many of our external third parties are based outside the UK so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the UK.
Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented
- We will only transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data.
- Where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts approved for use in the UK which give personal data the same protection it has in the UK.

8. Data security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
9. Data retention
How long will you use my personal data for?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
We aim to hold all personal data for no longer than 10 years and in respect of the personal data obtained through our consumer accounts, we delete all such personal data from our records 7 days following the closure of your account with us.

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).
We would, however appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you first. You also have the following options:
